Welcome to the Uranium Mining Website
The Uranium Mining Website's is a "news aggregator" website; a site that gathers news on many topics, across a wide list of news sources (through the magic of RSS feeds) and then disseminates the bundled news from this one handy location.
Recently our news coverage has expanded considerably, from simply following the Uranium industry to now include alternative energy sources, such as wind, solar, and bio-fuels, along with wider coverage of the precious metal and mining industries.
Uranium and nuclear energy continue to be of special interest, especially so with the ongoing energy squeeze and what possibly may be an emerging new future for nuclear energy in the USA.
And Thorium, a possibly safer alternative to Uranium, is also well covered, even though it often seems as far as ever from becoming an energy source.
Coal too is an important issue and the clean-coal question continues to be debated. Incidentally, the logo in the top right corner is of a coal-fired power plant near Pittsburgh, PA. Clicking on the image renders up a nice full-screen photo of that powerplant.
Mining claims For-Sale are listed in the menu-bar and, from time to time, the Photo Gallery gets updated with a few off-topic car show and/or other photos, just for a change of pace.
